Around the 'Hood

Just love being able to walk around the neighborhood to get shots like these!

One of the many great thing as about Victoria is the fact that most of the city offers tremendous views in all directions. Great place to live and an amazing place to photograph.

Here are a few of the "neighbours" !



I think there is a good bet these two are a couple!

I wonder what they are talking about!

Not too pleased when I see these guys eating in our garden but I wouldn't want it any other way. I think the ambiance of the 'Hood is enhanced with the Deer population.

Skimboarding!

Down at Whitty's Lagoon the other day, shortly before the last day of school. The beach was filled with frolicking kids but this guy was a the centre of it all as far as I was concerned.


Crazy what he could do with that board!

I can't decide what I like best about these images. Of course the stunts and tricks are even cooler when they are frozen in time but I have to say the looks on the other kids watching are almost as much fun!

He makes it look too easy!

It is as if the board was glued to his feet!

My sons took inspiration from the day and are now on the road to becoming pretty good skim-boarders in the own right!

Cordova Bay

Hello and welcome to our blog celebrating life in Victoria!

As two photographers living and working in Victoria we feel quite lucky. The City of Victoria along with Saanich Peninsula provide us with a setting that is one of beauty and contrast.

As we go about our daily lives we tend to bring our equipment along. To not do so would make us crazy because it seems there is always an opportunity for a great photograph!

Please have a look at few we got close to our home in Cordova Bay!



What better place for child to grow up. He likes his video games for sure but not as much as getting out on a day like this.
